The existing home, although large, did not offer the space and layout for an established family and entertaining for more than a small party comfortably. The new design features a more open and expanded floor plan with a grand new open kitchen and family room, including a new work area and wet bar for entertaining, expanded bedrooms and new baths, a new master bedroom with his/her baths as well as a rear balcony. An elevator was also added to add ease of access from the basement to the third floor.
