About Us

Gibson Builders, LLC is a full-service construction company specializing in custom homes, renovations and historic restorations, as well as condo/penthouse renovations and build-outs. The company currently has 28 employees, including 12 full-time superintendents/project managers and 8 master carpenters. Gibson Builders has successfully completed over 175 projects in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Gibson Builders was founded in 1981 by Jim Gibson. From the very first project, there has been a strong commitment to building homes of exceptionally high quality. Jim, along with a talented, experienced and dedicated staff, provides an active level of involvement on a day-to-day basis that assures this exceptional level of quality from pre-construction services through completion of the project. Regardless of size or scope, Gibson Builders approaches each project with a commitment to detail, specifics and quality construction.
